I had some cream cheese in the fridge that everyone was avoiding. Honestly, I don't know why because it's very tasty. I bought it with the idea of ​​making avocado cream cheese with it, but my little boy wanted me to use avocado in a smoothie, so I stayed with the cheese.

I could have bought another avocado or used it for a different aperitif, but the idea came to me to try something else with it. Specifically, I thought of making a dessert, because it was still Saturday and usually, for the weekend, I make a dessert for my family.

I also had some lost plums. I had taken these with the idea of ​​making plum dumplings. The heat came and I didn't feel like steaming in the kitchen, so in the end some of them ended up in this cake and I really liked what came out.

I have the original recipe from my sister-in-law and since she gave it to me, I have been starting from it and, modifying it, I tested different variants of cakes. Some came out good and the recipes ended up on the blog, others were never published. This is what happens when you experiment, sometimes you fail.

I liked this version of the cream cheese cake and how it came out, so I'll tell you how it's done. If you don't have plums, it's no problem, it works without it. She's just as good. Basically those plums are more of a decoration since I only used 6 small plums but of course you can put more if you have them.
